Before I Do Couple: Ferdinand and Linrose

The year was 2010 when Ferdinand and Linrose met at Rockwell. Ferdinand was depositing their daily sales and Linrose was the teller who processed his deposit and as they would say, the rest was history.

Years went by and they were supposed to break up and end everything but something felt incomplete. That was when they realized that breaking up and being alone without the other was not going to work for them. They just cannot live without each other anymore.

Wedding planning can be stressful and fun at the same time. Take it from Linrose who is a Before I Do Bride as she shares with us their experience when they went to Before I Do - Wedding and Debut Fair last July 10, 2016.

"We needed a "one stop shop" that time, we're running out of time and poof! Everything was set after our visit at Before I Do. We had a satisfying experience. I believe it helped a lot of couples just like us, searching for the perfect pieces for their perfect moment.

We were all over the place, literally! Everything that a couple should need was there and we had a hard time choosing but that's because all of the exhibitors were great. We even won a free prenup video without purchasing anything! We just registered onsite and our name was in! Then we finally got what we need, the guest performers started their set and it was the best way to end our day. It's a good thing we were done when the show started. We went home satisfied and entertained.

On our wedding day, everything was perfectly set up. Each supplier came in on time, the weather was nice and the people are all cheerful despite the long travel since most of them are from different provinces. All our friends were there sharing our most special day and our lovely parents are simultaneously entertaining the guests. For us, nothing could be more perfect than seeing all our loved ones happy for us, enjoying our big day with us and wishing us all the best wishes that we need. We could say that all was executed perfectly thanks to all the suppliers!

Adventures of Tintin Dessert Buffet

We are extremely lucky to have worked with the friendly Fully Booked Team for the press event of the Tintin Shop at Fully Booked Fort! Using their lovely vintage travel pegs and Tintin's adventures as our inspiration, we set up an old world style canape and dessert table spread with unique decorations that span continents and eras. We used vintage suitcases, stained wooden crates, shadow boxes, a Japanese serving platter, a wooden bowl with Aztec print, a safari hat, Egyptian sarcophagi, vintage airplanes, a globe, and a mandarin red oriental cookie jar. Paper buntings made from prints of Tintin's comics, as well as food labels and cupcake toppers with Tintin imagery, tied the whole theme together.

The food chosen by Aimee and the Fully Booked Team were perfect for the event - they even gave each one a Tintin inspired name for the label!

They chose egg sandwiches, strawberry shortcake petit fours, chocolate eclairs, mini salted caramel cupcakes, cream cheese and feta puffs, assorted dips and pate on cracker, nachos with salsa and dip, lemonade and iced tea. The highlight of the table is the amazing set of Tintin sugar cookies featuring Tintin, Snowy, Professor Calculus, and Captain Haddock, propped up nicely on a travel suitcase!

Thank you so much to Aimee and Fully Booked for letting us become part of this great event! We love the Tintin shop at Fully Booked Fort and we're eager to buy all the wonderful merchandise!

Beautiful and Happy

No trial make up for Engineer Shirley or Yhe Ambata. We just met on the day of the wedding. We instantly clicked as we were both from Cavite and we love it there. She told me that I was the first supplier she booked. I believe that no bride would be as beautiful on her day if you are not as smiling and as happy as Yhe.

Under the Rain

Khris and Jeanie's engagement session is one which I will always remember. The bright and sunny beach-themed prenup that we had planned was rescheduled twice already because of the inclement weather, and when we finally pushed through, the rain was even more intense.

So what did we do? I wrapped my camera in plastic and photographed in the rain. To add light, I placed my flash in the pocket of Khris, let it bounce over the umbrella creating a soft light over them. When the sky temporarily cleared, we ran towards the shore, with my assistant holding the flash and following the couple. I did not have a chance to change my lens so I ended up using the 100mm macro. Hahaha. Nevertheless, we had a dramatic set that I am truly proud of.

Romel and J-Ann Exchange Vows at Pico De Loro

Our friends for Treasured Memories captured the love that was shared between Romel and J-Ann last February 1, 2014 when they exchanged their vows at the beach of Pico De Loro.

The couple are both based in Canada but distance did not stop them from getting the services of Treasured Memories. They availed of the Gold Package of Treasured Memories with aerial videography to capture the breath taking view of Hamilo coast.

Brides nowadays have pegs or inspiration boards for their wedding gown. I usually draw and start my inspiration from there and work on something that will reflect her vision..

And Ms. Chan is one of those brides. One of the most beautiful faces I have ever seen..

Lace over lace, textured and embossed and simple skirt with cut out detail was what I envisioned for her gown design when she said flowers and beads.

For a woman who speaks softly yet you can feel her strength.

No words can express how happy and proud I am when I see my bride confident and glowing while walking down the aisle wearing my creation..        

It is true that you don't need a high and pricey gown to have your dream wedding.. You just need someone who can understand what you want..

The Bridge Across Forever!

JP and DIANA is one of the coolest couple I've encountered. I do admire the way they handle things--they just breeze through the day without any worries at all. I would often smile whenever I hear them conversing to each other. This set the right mood on their big day. JP and DIANA became a spark that ignites laughter among their family and friends.

The highlight of the day was having their wedding ceremony in one of the historical churches in Manila, the San Sebastian Church. I was so moved to see the Father of the Bride beaming with pride as she watched his daughter walked down the aisle. It was an unforgettable moment for the Groom as well--the most significant day for them had finally arrived.

The pictorial in Quiapo bridge further boost the fun and excitement of the day. I was amazed with JP and DIANA's enthusiasm. They did not mind their tiredness, or the fact that passersby were staring at them while they're having their pictorial as a newly wed couple. The 'go for it' attitude is like a bridge that will lead this couple to go places..they were not afraid to take any risk..they were not hesitant to go beyond the traditional.
