They're Getting Married!

Jayson surprised Rein with a wedding proposal at our event last July 25, 2015 and she said "Yes!". Before I Do and Wedding Flavours Magazine surprised them with our gift of our own. A four (4) page spread of their love story at Wedding Flavours Magazine!

Who would have thought that among the 3,400 people who visited the event, there was one romantic guy planning to propose to his girl at the bridal fair's stage itself. This romantic guy touched base with the bridal fair's organizers months before the event to orchestrate his most awaited proposal. He was set to propose when the bridal fair's band, ALT, played their theme song "You and Me". Originally, he was supposed to surprise his girl by singing along with the band but his nerves got the best of him and he went straight to proposing. After going down on one knee and presenting the engagement ring, he heard the best answer he will ever hear in his life - a resounding "yes!"

A Marriage Proposal at the Before I Do Bridal Fair 12th Edition

If you want to book wedding suppliers at discounted rates, brides and grooms should go to bridal fairs such as the recently held Before I Do Bridal Fair 12th Edition at the Megatrade Hall 3, SM Megamall. Over 3,400 brides and grooms made it the grand event and met 95 wedding suppliers who charmed their hearts with great wedding promos and discounts.

Other highlights of the Before I Do Bridal Fair 12th Edition was the awarding ceremonies where Wingdingz Invitations won as Top Booker (41 declared bookings) and Eulogio Melgar III from Pangasinan won a 3 Days 2 Nights stay at Hotel Vida.

Before I Do Bridal Fair 10th Ed. Post-Event Press Release

The “Before I Do” Bridal Fair 10th Ed. was held last November 18 to 20, 2011 at Megatrade Hall 3, SM Megamall. Organized by VRC Creative Events Management Corp., headed by Wedding Planner, Coordinator & Events Organizer extraordinaire, Ms. Summer “Sam” Carullo.

The Before I Do Bridal Fair had more than 80 exhibitors with tons of activities, cool raffle prizes and even a surprise wedding proposal of Ace Apostol to Kay Tarroza last November 19, 2011. Wingdingz Invitations bagged the Top Booker title with 61 bookings and the photo entry of Rochel and Lee won the Best Prenup Photo Contest. Rochel and Lee got 1,52 votes and won for themselves a wedding cake! Their official photographer, Nice Print Photography, won an overnight stay at One Tagaytay Place!

Before I Do Bridal Fair was supported by Hotel Vida, Party Channel, Sound Level, Nice Print Photography, Business World, Wedding Planner Magazine, Wedding Digest, 88DB.com, Bridalbook.ph, Kasal.com and Herword.com.

VRC Creative Events Management Corp. was KIND enough to offer to have a fairly NEW and UNKNOWN “talent manager”, Ana Marie G. Herrera, showcase her YOUNG and brilliant “pool” of singers/performers and lone instrumentalist/saxophonist. The “stage” was available to “entertain” the exhibitors, partners, sponsors and guests of the Bridal Fair.

Dale Guevarra, Voce Bella (female singing trio: Princess Faith Priel, Jinky Cruz and Eizel Mercado), Harvey Sison and Mhyr Priol Flores serenaded as well as surprised and amazed those present inside Megatrade Hall 3 with their PURE, CLEAR and POWERFUL God given voices.

The 3-day Bridal Fair provided the necessary exposure for the “talents” to prospect couples. To date, because of the group’s participation … even if just for 2 hours each day, Ms Herrera CONFIRMS a booking for a wedding between Mr. Wowie Benitez and Ms. Gail Duque scheduled on February 11, 2012! ☺

This event also paved the way for the group to provide the “opening” performances for the HerWord.com 10^th Anniversary held last November 30 at the Eastwood Central Park.

Kasal.com's "The Wedding Proposal Story" Contest

A few weeks ago I received an email from Kasal.com, a long time event partner of our event - Before I Do Bridal Fair Series. They have an ongoing online contest for couples, "The Wedding Proposal Story" Contest, and they want me to be part of it. I was so happy, shocked and excited all at the same time when they asked me to be one of their judges and of course, I immediately agreed. 

There were several entries that needed to be scored. Some proposals were something I've heard of already. Others spoke of the lengths they've done to execute their plans to propose. There was one guy who even gave his girlfriend 3 engagement rings! Sweet =)

I salute the men who really made an effort to make the day of their proposal very special. If I were in the shoes of these ladies, I would fall in love all over again. Read their stories for yourself (click the name of the couple to be directed to their love story).

Aside from having a dream wedding, girls look forward to the day the man they love would propose to them. When I was a little girl, there was a time when I wondered.. Do girls get to keep the ring if the relationship doesn't go to the next level? Does a girl who is proposed to have the heart to say "No" if she doesn't feel it's the right time? Does it always have to be a diamond ring? Some men uses a family heirloom as an engagement ring. What if it doesn't fit my personality? Hahaha! Too many questions for a 10 year old. 

This contest made me think back if I ever did dreamed of being proposed to and how. I actually can't remember. Maybe I'll write about it when I remember. It was my dream wedding that got stuck in my head up to now. And it stayed as a dream...

But so far... nothing still beats my favorite proposal ever. And this one always makes me cry.

Anyway, I hope my personal favorite for this contest wins.
