Profile: Ria de Guzman is a Professional Hair and Make-up Artist for Weddings, Debuts, Events, Films, Photoshoots, TV Commercials, Music and Corporate Videos. She was professionally trained in conventional make-up artistry at HD (High-Definition) Makeup Studio & Academy under Jeave Gabiana and Stef Chua. She also took Airbrush Make-up at Kryolan Professional Make-up Philippines under Faye Young, and was also trained for hairstyling at Wella Professional.
As a make-up and hairstylist, she has helped enhance the looks of actors and actresses such as Mark Gil, Mr. Richard Quan, Sam Milby, Jodie Sta. Maria-Lacson, China Cojuangco, Lauren Young, Diana Zubiri, Mercedez Cabral, Sue Prado, Carizza Cortez, Barbie Almalbis, Bayang Barrios, Janice Hung, Epi Quizon, Noni Buencamino, Ronnie Lazaro, Archie Alemania, Archie Adamos, Melissa Mendez, Karen Davila and Julius Babao (just to name a few).
Her recent projects included several independent films under Cinema One, Sineng Pambansa and Cinemalaya. She’s also done hair and make-up for some corporate accounts such as Nestle Philippines, GLOBE Telecommunications, COCA-COLA, Suzuki, Emerson, Erickson, Aboitiz, 2GO, Bayan Communications, LBC and DHL.
For Television and Media, Ria has showcased her creative skills by doing Lauren Young’s (for the 2011 ABS-CBN Christmas Special) and Ginger Conijero’s Make-up (for ANC "Tease"). She’s also exhibited her talent by collaborating with a local production that handled National Geographic.
Ria is currently offering One-on-One Make-up Tutorials and Basic Make-up Seminars.
