Bring your girlfriends, mom, and even your fiancé and enjoy the day.

Tips for Attending a Bridal Show

• Pre-register ahead of time ( http://bid11.doattend.com/) so that you do not have to fill out forms on the day of the show. Just remember to bring your tickets! Remember, no ticket, no entry.
• If you don't pre-register, make sure you register when you arrive at the show.  Registering will enter you into the hourly raffle drawings. 
• Create a separate email address to be used while you are planning your wedding.  This way you can delete it when you no longer are interested in receiving special offers from the vendors.
• Bring adhesive address labels.  This will save you a lot of time when you register at individual booths. Exhibitors will ask for your names, wedding date, contact number and email address so make sure to add these information to your label.
• Ask lots of questions, that's what the exhibitors are there for!
• Bring your cheque book in case you decide to book services or block dates with a deposit. Be sure to check on refund policies before giving any money, and read the contract carefully before signing.
• Collect any information you are interested in - take it home to look over again when you have some quiet time. Don't forget to come back the next day and book your supplier! Booking between 10am to 1pm gives you a chance to double your tickets for the on site booking raffle. The lucky on site booker gets to win a 3 day 2 night stay at Hotel Vida!
• If you cannot attend, send someone else (your  fiancé, mom or maid of honor) to do the "window shopping" on services you need.
• Wear comfortable shoes and have a great time!

It was around 2004 when I chanced upon an advertisement for a photo and video package at a Konika Developing Center at Malibay, Pasay city. I said to myself, "Hmmm... Maybe I can invite them to join our bridal fair at SM North EDSA". Thanks to Summer, for allowing us to get the GC hassle free via LBC. We got the GC immediately.. Problem encountered after receiving the GC, because it is only valid until November 2011 and our wedding is January 2012. One of the options is to sell the GC before it expires. But Mark pushed me and we decided to go directly to 7 Stones Suites Boracay (Manila Office) to ask if we can still use the GC after our wedding. Luckily, and with Mark’s Charm... haha.. we were allowed to use the GC and we were scheduled a week after our wedding (4D3N). Yey!

7 Stones, a very private Suite located across D’Mall. The place is nice, the services are good and they have friendly staffs. Recommended for Couples on Honeymoon.. What have we been up to lately?

Here's our last update of the year, to keep you up to date with the latest news at Before I Do Bridal Fair, and give you advance notice of new opportunities for early 2012.

• We're almost fully booked for Before I Do Bridal Fair 11th Ed., May 26 and 27, 2012. So if you would like to join us it only costs Php 16,000 - Php 18,500 as it's a 2 day show. Email us back if you'd like to take part - please note: it's on first come, first served basis.
• We've re-launched our blog as a news service, so we try to post new wedding related news or tips for soon to wed couples. Registered visitors receive priority listings, so don't forget to send us your press releases/news on a regular basis as we aim to make our blog the place to go for up to date wedding news in 2012
• Also, in order to make our updates interesting to our followers on Twitter, we need more news from you - so please also send us any quirky facts and info about your company, wedding tips or traditions, and we'll tweet it out to our followers - this can only help send more business your way.
• Facebook - don't forget, you can post your news on our Before I Do Bridal Fair Series Facebook page and reach more brides. As long as you are an exhibitor of Before I Do Bridal Fair then you can post. Also, if you have promotions or special events (food tasting) coming up then email them to us and we'll post them in our Facebook and Twitter.

Before I Do Bridal Fair 10th Ed. Post-Event Press Release

The “Before I Do” Bridal Fair 10th Ed. was held last November 18 to 20, 2011 at Megatrade Hall 3, SM Megamall. Organized by VRC Creative Events Management Corp., headed by Wedding Planner, Coordinator & Events Organizer extraordinaire, Ms. Summer “Sam” Carullo.

The Before I Do Bridal Fair had more than 80 exhibitors with tons of activities, cool raffle prizes and even a surprise wedding proposal of Ace Apostol to Kay Tarroza last November 19, 2011. Wingdingz Invitations bagged the Top Booker title with 61 bookings and the photo entry of Rochel and Lee won the Best Prenup Photo Contest. Rochel and Lee got 1,52 votes and won for themselves a wedding cake! Their official photographer, Nice Print Photography, won an overnight stay at One Tagaytay Place!

Before I Do Bridal Fair was supported by Hotel Vida, Party Channel, Sound Level, Nice Print Photography, Business World, Wedding Planner Magazine, Wedding Digest, 88DB.com, Bridalbook.ph, Kasal.com and Herword.com.

VRC Creative Events Management Corp. was KIND enough to offer to have a fairly NEW and UNKNOWN “talent manager”, Ana Marie G. Herrera, showcase her YOUNG and brilliant “pool” of singers/performers and lone instrumentalist/saxophonist. The “stage” was available to “entertain” the exhibitors, partners, sponsors and guests of the Bridal Fair.

Dale Guevarra, Voce Bella (female singing trio: Princess Faith Priel, Jinky Cruz and Eizel Mercado), Harvey Sison and Mhyr Priol Flores serenaded as well as surprised and amazed those present inside Megatrade Hall 3 with their PURE, CLEAR and POWERFUL God given voices.

The 3-day Bridal Fair provided the necessary exposure for the “talents” to prospect couples. To date, because of the group’s participation … even if just for 2 hours each day, Ms Herrera CONFIRMS a booking for a wedding between Mr. Wowie Benitez and Ms. Gail Duque scheduled on February 11, 2012! ☺

This event also paved the way for the group to provide the “opening” performances for the HerWord.com 10^th Anniversary held last November 30 at the Eastwood Central Park.

We're at the last leg of our Best Prenup Photo Contest for 2011!

Nine entries were submitted and are already online for voting.

Just to remind you guys. (1) The voting system is database driven and votes are tracked via the voter's Facebook ID. (2) Before you can vote, you need to LIKE the Fan Page - BEFORE I DO BRIDAL FAIR SERIES. (3) You can only vote once (4) Don't try to trick the system by unliking the fan page and liking it again to vote for the second time. Because it wont work.

Five entries with the most votes will be showcased at Megatrade Hall 3, SM Megamall for on site voting from November 18 to 20, 2011. Only guests who booked their suppliers on site will be able to cast a vote. All you have to do is present your Official Receipt to the Secretariat's Booth and for every Php 500 of your accumulated receipts entitles you to one vote.

At the end of the bridal fair, the couple with the highest votes wins a wedding cake and it's all up to you!

An Exhibitor's Wedding

It was October 28, 2010 when I got an email from Angie Radan (she owns Realm Salon and they joined our bridal fair last 2009) with a subject heading - Wedding Invite.

Before opening it I thought "For sure this was sent by mistake". But lo and behold, it was really intended for us! This was a sweet surprise. Why? Because it's the first time that we got an invitation (a wedding invitation at that) from one of our bridal fair exhibitors. I was fighting tears of joy from falling down my checks. I was really touched. I never thought that we meant that much to Angie.

Another surprise came on the day of their wedding when they mentioned us during their thank you speech. Mega touched na talaga ako! A very special testimonial indeed!

Over 2,000 soon-to-weds walked down aisle after aisle of more than ninety wedding suppliers in the recent 9^th Edition of the Before I Do Bridal Fair Series held last May 14 and 15, 2011. Once again, VRC Creative Events and Mybridalfair.com gathered wedding suppliers from all over the metro at the Megatrade Hall 1 of SM Megamall in Mandaluyong to showcase quality products and services to couples about to say “I Do”, as well as to young ladies about to celebrate their coming of age.

This weekend affair gave couples a chance to interact and talk with different suppliers as they present the latest trends and new ideas for creating a memorable event, and even provide money-saving tips to the budget-conscious soon-to-weds. Couples who booked their wedding suppliers during the two-day event were given raffle coupons and were drawn on Sunday evening and lucky Ms. Lea Esguerra won a 3 day-2 night stay for two at 7 Stones Boracay Suites. There was also a Best Prenup Photo Contest and the couple that garnered the most number of votes are Michelle Angela Rillo and Joseph Tubelleza who won a 3 day 2 night stay at Club Punta Fuego and a gift pack from Herword.com, while their photographer, Nice Print Photography, got an overnight stay at One Tagaytay Place.
